The New Moon in Pisces: God Helps Those Who Help Themselves

<p>"Faith may be defined briefly as an illogical belief in the occurrence of the improbable." -H. L. Mencken
Faith is a funny thing. It basically means "to trust." And trust denotes an element of action- either I trust that you will do something, or my trust in you/the system/God/etc. helps me to do something.
Every year we have a new moon in Pisces in either late February or early March. This is the time right before the equinox, the spring season when life begins to return to earth (in the northern hemisphere). And it’s often at times like these- when winter seems especially long, when success seems just out of reach, or the temptation to give up becomes to great to bear- that we need to excercise our faith, trust that something will happen, and actively take the next step in our journey. If we don’t act, then it’s not faith. Besides, what are the options? Just giving up?
Do anything, just do something. My personal goal with astrology is to help you in a very real and practical way by using this symbolic language to create awareness and possiblity, and in a way that ultimately helps you be the person you always wanted to become. If it doesn’t do that, why bother?
A clear plan for the future, one that is ripe with fortune and happiness, can’t be realized with out our co-creative abilities- our actions. "Fate has two arms, and one of them is yours."
Last month I mentioned that I’m co-developing a line of pet products. Now we’re at the stage when we need to have a label designed and I was asked to write a creative brief by the agency. The brief is to help the agency understand the product so it can design an appropriate label and it needs to include information about our budget, target markets, competitors, and more. It’s a rather daunting task for someone who’s never written one before and has <a href="http://www.megapolishackcheatz.xyz/megapolishack/" target="_blank" >megapolis hack cheats</a> very little market research (or resources to get them).
And I can’t stop, even though I’m unsure of what I’m doing. I won’t let the entire project just come to a halt because I can’t write this short document. I’ll ask for help, or give myself permission to create a shi**y first draft and see what the agency thinks. But I have to do something. Strength is only built when it encounters resistance.
And while I tell myself that I certainly can’t stop, what I would actually tell a client is that, yes, in fact you do have the choice of stopping the entire project if you can’t complete this document. It’s your choice. However, the next few weeks look really favorable for you, why don’t you give it a try and see where it takes you?
The Astrology of the New MoonThe new moon (March-New-Moon-Chart) occurs on March 15, 2010 at 5:01 pm EDT at 25 degrees of Pisces. Pisces is a water sign; and in astrology water is the symbol for the emotions. Pisces experiences its emotions first, before it thinks through something, before it takes action, or even considers the consequences. This sign has emotions like water- they ebb and flow, and can often times sweep one off his or her feet like a powerful wave. Water also represents the source of life and the place where all is one. Thus, Pisces can be mystical, compassionate, and transcendent.
Jupiter rules the sign of Pisces and is currently transitting through that sign. When a planet is in its own sign it’s said to be in rulership, which means it has a particularly strong influence at this time. Jupiter is associated with opportunities, blessings, and favors. His association with this new moon suggests that the next few weeks will be a particularly fortunate time for whatever endeavors you begin. If you have something to achieve (like writing a creative brief) the universe is going to meet you more than halfway.
This new moon is also very close to both Mercury and Uranus. Mercury symbolizes our mind, its ideas, and how we communicate those ideas with others. Uranus represents the urge to be liberated- free from physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual repression or stagnation. During this time while Mercury and Uranus mingle, your mind may be very active and <a href="http://www.clashroyalehackcheatss.xyz/gems-hack/" target="_blank" >www.clashroyalehackcheatss.xyz/gems-hack/</a> your speech could span the gamut from pearls of genius to <a href="http://www.megapolishackcheatz.xyz/megapolishack/" target="_blank" >megapolis hack cheats</a> editorial about our social and political culture. We may receive surprising news or hear of a scientific breakthrough.
This cycle is favorable for any activities that help us to express our individual opinions, speak our individual truths, and view our world from a different paradigm. The function of Uranus is to release us from the structures in our lives that are stunting our spiritual growth. Could it be time to throw out some of your old assumptions? To challenge your "illogical beliefs?"
Saturn in Libra will require that we consider balance and fairness. Saturn is the judge and is giving us the chance to judge our assumptions: is each one bringing balance and harmony to my life or is it throwing part of my life out of balance? For many of us right now it may be a relationship (since Libra rules "relationships") or it may be career related. It may be helpful to ask "what are the assumptions (both spoken and unspoken) that I’m operating under? Does it support the kind of person I want to become?"
Mars stationed direct on March 11th, 2010, and as it begins to move forward we may collectively feel the energy return. Deals that have been set, kickoff meetings that have been scheduled, or projects waiting to be initiated should begin to lurch forward again now that the planet of action, activity, and our inner "fight" to get what we want is moving direct once again.
The new moon in Pisces may be a dreamy time when the possibilities open up to us and we’re once again offered the chance to step out in faith. And it can be a productive time when faith drives our actions. Trust your inspiration to provide you with the right answer at the right time. Take a risk, step out in faith, and get it done. Make the improbable probable.
Now if you’ll excuse me. I have a brief to write.
