I roll for loot sometimes when I want to be surprised (or feel particularly uninspired to choose), but more often I handpick objects that would be interesting, balanced (most of the time.), and useful.It also depends on the party size as well. The gameplay does have its undeniable issues, mainly the repetition of areas and dungeons, that is the main issue that I see with it. The story itself, the characters, the moments between party members, those are all incredibly precious, and I think will make the experience worthwhile. Most probably have favored targets, but they still seek justice against evil in a general sense. If your paladin regains his arm and kills the person removed said arm to begin with, you don automatically lose your break your oath.
